In 2022, the Northwestern Mutual Diversity, Equity & Inclusion Council of Pittsburgh was recognized from the Home Office as the Number One leader in their Market Category, nationwide, for their work inside and outside of the organization. They received a monetary investment of $10,000 through the Home Office to further their work within the Pittsburgh community. The Council hosted an awards reception & granted several organizations the money through an application process. Their goal is to partner with these organizations to further their efforts in the Diversity, Equity, & Inclusion space.
