Ariel Rodriguez
Managing Director
Ariel Rodriguez Mercado was born and raised in Puerto Rico. He attended Rutgers University in 1995 as a Division 1 student-athlete. He then returned to Puerto Rico to pursue his professional volleyball career. He would go on to play for Puerto Rico’s National Team and internationally as a foreign player in Europe and South America. After retiring from his professional volleyball career of sixteen years, he and his family moved to Maryland in 2010, where he began his career in Financial Services. Ariel is currently the Managing Director at Northwestern Mutual- Frederick and is building a strong team of entrepreneurial individuals who are successfully growing their business in the financial services industry. He also runs a successful financial advising practice, helping individuals and business owners plan for their financial future. Ariel and his wife, Anissa, have three daughters and currently live in Frederick, MD.

Arly Garcia

Arly Garcia is the Director of Recruitment for Northwestern Mutual, where she also handles all the marketing and social media efforts. With a diverse skill set that includes leadership, creativity, sales, and reliability, Arly brings a valuable perspective to her role. Originally from New Jersey, she moved to Maryland at the age of 12. Arly attended Towson University and graduated with two Bachelor's Degrees, one in Marketing and another in Business Systems & Processes. Outside of work, she enjoys playing basketball, soccer, hiking, working out, and expressing her creativity through drawing and painting. Above all, Arly has a passion for traveling and exploring new places and cultures!

Kimberly has worked with Northwestern Mutual since September 2012, and is committed to assisting new financial representatives get a jump start on their careers. Kimberly is the Sales Executive Team member in the Frederick office, and is responsible for processing insurance applications, assisting in the planning process, and helping clients with service needs. Kimberly holds a Maryland Life and Health license, as well as a Master’s Degree in Counseling Psychology.
