Cancer is the leading cause of death by disease in children under the age of 15. ALSF funds cancer research, raises awareness, and supports the families of children with cancer. Since 2012, Northwestern Mutual has donated more than $20 million to support ALSF. Locally, our office is proud to participate in Alex's events including LA Loves Alex's with a mission of helping to change the lives of children with cancer.
TeamConnor Childhood Cancer Foundation
We are also a proud supporter of the TeamConnor Childhood Cancer Foundation, founded by Joy and Tait Cruse in 2008 after their 4-year old son was diagnosed with cancer. To date, TeamConnor has raised more than $3mil. On September 25th, we joined other Northwestern Mutual offices in a single day of exercise to help raise $1mil. Our office’s goal is to collect $20,000 in donations to help the Cruse’s fight this deadly disease.
