John E. Schlifske is chairman and chief executive officer of Northwestern Mutual and is a member of the Board of Trustees. Schlifske joined Northwestern Mutual as an investment specialist and later led a variety of the company's investment operations as well as different parts of its business operations.

Todd M. Jones is Executive Vice President, Chief Financial Officer (CFO). A member of the company's Senior Leadership Team, he leads the Finance and Risk function responsible for the company's financial management and planning, budgeting, actuarial, investment risk and operations, enterprise risk management and resiliency.

Raymond J. Manista

Raymond J. Manista oversees the company's Law and Public Affairs activities, including law, enterprise compliance, strategic communications, privacy, enterprise sustainability, government relations, and strategic philanthropy and community relations (Northwestern Mutual Foundation). He also serves as the Corporate Secretary to the company's Board of Trustees.
