Shane and his wife, Lindsey, live in Trempealeau, WI. They are blessed with a beautiful daughter, Evelyn, born in 2018, and an amazing son, Bridger, born in 2021, who bring more joy to their lives than they ever imagined.
Professional
Background
Shane's reasons for starting with Northwestern Mutual are based on previous experience with his parents' financial advisor. Watching how she helped his parents to achieve their financial goals and objectives greatly influenced what he wanted to do with his life.
After graduating from the University of Wisconsin La Crosse with a Finance major and emphasis in Accounting, Insurance, and Investments; Shane chose to pursue a full-time position with the Northwestern Mutual as a Financial Representative after two years in their highly rated college internship program.
Accreditations
Shane is committed to continue developing his practice through obtaining advanced knowledge and esteemed industry accreditations to better serve the interests of his clients. To date, he has attained the professional designations of CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ Professional and Chartered Life Underwriter (CLU®).
In addition to serving his own clients, Shane leads the Onalaska/La Crosse, WI office as Managing Director. This position allows him to lead and develop other advisors and representatives in the La Crosse community to pursue our vision of being the finest financial planning firm in the Coulee Region.

As part of Northwestern Mutual, Shane is proud to help accelerate the search for better childhood cancer treatments while supporting families undergoing treatment, and survivors from late effects. Here are some of the organizations Northwestern Mutual partners with:
Alex's Lemonade Stand Foundation for Childhood Cancer (ALSF)
ALSF funds cancer research, raises awareness, and supports the families of children with cancer. Since 2012, Northwestern Mutual, its employees, and financial professionals like me have donated more than $20 million to support ALSF and fund over 400,000 research hours.
Ugly Sweater 5K
As an active member of La Crosse's Rotary After Hours Club, Shane is particularly excited about Northwestern Mutual's involvement in the annual "Ugly Sweater 5K" held in downtown La Crosse. We are pleased to serve as the presenting sponsor of this holiday Rotary Run.
Good Neighbor's Day
Another great opportunity our team participates in is Good Neighbor's Day. As a group we volunteer our morning to rake and clean the yards of our elderly and disabled La Crosse neighbors. We are happy to help make our community a more beautiful place to live.
Kane Street Community Garden
Teams that garden together, stay together? Our team enjoys volunteering our time during the summer months at the La Crosse Community Kane Street Garden. The Hunger Task Force Kane Street Community Garden donates thousands of pounds of fresh, organic produce to La Crosse Community members each year.
