I have been married to Laurie for 25 years and we have two fantastic children, our daughter Chelsea (20) and son Cody (16). We live in Highlands Ranch, Colorado.

I have worked in the insurance industry since 1989, entering into this career as an actuarial student. While working for an insurance company, I concentrated on developing products for the corporate-owned life insurance (COLI) and bank-owned life insurance (BOLI) markets, including new products for the nonqualified deferred compensation markets.
As an actuary, my product development experience included innovations in both general account and separate account designs in order to meet the unique needs of banks and other financial institutions. My experience in the investment arena has allowed me to bring real expertise to various types of BOLI transactions. Being involved in managing the day-to-day operations of a $3 billion line of COLI/BOLI business, including product development, pricing, investment analysis and marketing of BOLI and COLI, gave me the opportunity to work with business clients as well as professional financial representatives.
It was this exposure to business clients that led me out of the corporate setting and into the field where I have worked with national firms as a consultant for executive benefits as well as corporate and bank owned life insurance products. Between my experience as an actuary and an investment professional, I am uniquely positioned to educate institutions on the many decisions inherent in the COLI/BOLI market. I also enjoy speaking to many industry groups on topics relating to nonqualified benefits and BOLI and have authored papers for various banking publications and associations, such as my most recently published article for the American Bankers Association (ABA).
Working with clients across the nation over the years has been a terrific experience. Being a part Northwestern Mutual as a Financial Representative gives me access to world-class insurance services and internationally recognized investment products. I look forward to continuing to work with individuals and banks across the nation to provide some of the best products and service in the marketplace.
