Family November 2024

Lending a hand in my community.

As part of Northwestern Mutual, I'm proud to help accelerate the search for better childhood cancer treatments while supporting families undergoing treatment, and survivors from late effects. Here are some of the organizations we partner with:

Nikki Crawford Ducey was on the Board of Directors from 2019-2021 for Kids In The Middle.

Kids In The Middle helps children, parents and families thrive during and after divorce through counseling, education and support. The agency opened its doors in 1977, providing group counseling for children whose parents were separated, divorced or remarried. Since that time, their services have expanded to serving the whole family, including parents.

Licenses & Designations

Nikki holds her Life, Health and Long Term Care licenses as well as her Series 6, 63, 7 and 66. In addition, Nikki holds the CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ Professional certification, CLU®, and RICP® designations.

The CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ Professional  certification is one of the most recognized financial planning marks in the world. The certification identifies to the public those individuals who have met rigorous professional standards and have agreed to adhere to the principles of integrity, objectivity, competence, fairness, confidentiality, professionalism, and diligence when dealing with clients. The certification differs from an educational designation or state license in that it is based upon requirements that have been determined by extensive job analyses of actual practitioners in the field, and therefore, continue to evolve with the profession. The certification prepares the financial services professional for a career-long commitment to meeting the ever-changing financial needs of clients.

The Chartered Life Underwriter (CLU®) designation has long been recognized as the fundamental and foremost educational credential for life insurance professionals. Since 1927, more than 94,000 individuals have earned their CLU®, helping them build a successful life insurance practice by providing clients with knowledgeable and ethical advice. For financial representatives, field management, home office personnel, and others involved in providing life insurance products to the public, the CLU® designation symbolizes continuing growth and commitment to professionalism.

The Retirement Income Certified Professional (RICP®) program enables Financial Advisors to make better, more informed decision-making regarding retirement financial planning. The purpose of the RICP® is to help individuals who are at, or near, retirement build a plan to ensure they meet their retirement income and other financial goals throughout their nonworking years and manage the many risks they may face. As coordinated planning and better decision making can improve retirement security, retirement income planning is a very rewarding area within financial planning. Research has shown that better decisions can make a big difference in retirement income.

For five years, Nikki participated in a leadership role within the organization. She assisted in the selection and development of new representatives.

How Northwestern Mutual helps you live the life you want.

When people feel better about their money, good things happen—they become more confident and feel more secure. For more than 160 years, Northwestern Mutual has helped people achieve the financial flexibility they need to live more and worry less.

Being a mutual company means Northwestern Mutual reports to its clients, not Wall Street. They don't believe in chasing fads or taking undue risk for short-term gains. Instead, they take a long-term approach—both in the way we help people plan to reach their goals, and in the way they do business. This has served their clients (and mine) well through all kinds of economic ups and downs, including wars, recessions, even the recent pandemic.

It's why I'm happy to be part of a company that's in it for the long-haul and prioritizes clients over profit.
