Michael's Story

Michael joined Northwestern Mutual in 2002 and renamed his business CoreFit Financial in 2022. He believes a strong core in all aspects of life allows you to thrive--physically, socially, mentally, spiritually, and financially. He and his team bring the financial expertise and enjoy connecting clients to resources to help in other areas of life when appropriate.

A firm believer in continuing his professional education, Michael has achieved his Chartered Life Underwriter (CLU®), Chartered Financial Consultant (ChFC®), Retirement Income Certified Professional (RICP ®) and Wealth Management Certified Professional (WMCP ®) designations and continues to pursue ongoing financial educational studies.

Michael Bush grew up in Louisville and attended St. Xavier High School and Bellarmine University where he played baseball and majored in Accounting. He stays busy watching his son's musical theater and acting performances and his daughter's gymnastics competitions. Other passions include traveling, hiking, good food, and staying active.
