Professional
Johan has been a financial advisor and consultant for almost twenty years. As a Wealth Management Advisor of Northwestern Mutual, he seeks first to understand your vision for your future, which says a lot about you. Like you, your vision is unique, as is his approach to helping you shape it and attain it.
Johan is committed to providing clients with innovative, relevant solutions for their personal and business needs. He develops enduring relationships with clients based on integrity and excellent service.
Personal
Johan was born and raised in Minnesota and attended Saint Cloud State University where he graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Communication Studies and a minor in Business. Since college, Johan has built his life based on three Fs - faith, family, and fun.
Faith - The Gjenvicks are active attenders and serve at Northridge Fellowship church in Rogers. In addition, support a number of causes including missions and a local crisis women's clinic.
Family - Johan married his high school sweetheart, Laura. They have four wonderful children; Sydney (15), Stella (13), Cooper (11), Celia (8), and the best dog in the world, Tucker.
Fun - All four of Johan's children are active in musical theatre. In addition, Johan coaches and serves as an advisor to the youth lacrosse board. The family seeks adventure through travels to state and national parks, as well as warm beaches of Florida in the cold winter months in Minnesota.
Lending a Hand in the Community
As part of Northwestern Mutual, we are proud to help accelerate the search for better childhood cancer treatments while supporting families undergoing treatment, and survivors from late effects. Here are some of the organizations we partner with:
Alex's Lemonade Stand Foundation for Childhood Cancer (ALSF)
ALSF funds cancer research, raises awareness, and supports the families of children with cancer. Since 2012, Northwestern Mutual, its employees, and financial professionals like me have donated more than $20 million to support ALSF and fund over 400,000 research hours.
Beads of Courage
Beads of Courage is an art-in-medicine program that helps kids with cancer tell their unique treatment story through colorful beads that are symbols of their courage.
Additional Community Involvement
Robbinsdale Womens Center - 100 Hole Challenge: Since 2003 Johan Gjenvick and his family have supported Robbinsdale Women's Center. Since 2015, Johan has participated in the 100 Hole Golf Challenge by playing 100 holes in one day to raise support for mothers in need. Robbinsdale Women's Center was founded in 1992 to provide compassionate care to women facing unplanned pregnancies and has served over 19,000 women and families. Rogers Youth Lacrosse Association: Johan Gjenvick enjoys coaching his son, Cooper, and serving on the board of the Rogers Youth Lacrosse Association as Director of Player Development.
