Mission Statement
"My mission is to help you identify your current financial picture with your future financial goals. Along with a network of specialists, I provide innovative solutions using world-class insurance services and internationally recognized investment products. Through this, I develop enduring relationships with my clients and love to have them think of me as a lifetime financial consultant who is on call to assist them in any way that we can to help them reach their financial goals.
My business is focused on providing a superior level of highly professional advice to our clients as well as providing excellent, personalized service. We meet frequently with our clients to reassess their financial goals and objectives and to review their financial programs.
I specialize in helping business owners and HR departments with their retirement plans- educating them and aiding in helping them with creative solutions that enable informed decisions to be made. I think of myself as more of a consultant with a 3rd party perspective that I believe you will find both honest and trustworthy. While retirements and investment products are my concentration, I also believe in looking at your big financial picture and taking a holistic approach to help you protect your future and fulfill your financial goals. I have a highly skilled and well credentialed network of specialists and support staff that excel in life & disability income insurance, annuities, long-term care insurance, group employee benefits and estate planning.
By taking a comprehensive assessment of your current situation, helping you prioritize your goals and developing a workable strategy with clear action steps, I will do my best to help you protect and provide for those people you care about most." -Emmett Dupas
Lending a hand in my community.
Pay It Forward/Pay It Back
In 2005, Emmett and his family were decimated due to Hurricane Katrina. Choosing to rebuild in the community he loved so much, he and his family have witnessed great improvements to the Greater New Orleans area. In 2012, Emmett created a function he called Pay It Forward/Pay It Back to help those affected by Hurricane Isaac. Asking those who received assistance in 2005 to pay it back and for those who haven't lost anything to pay it forward in their life. The group raised over $25,000 for eight families whose lives were impacted by the storm in Plaquemine Parish. The coordination of 80+ individuals to help these families gut and clean out their homes was very impactful to the community. He has taken a gratitude approach to life and gives back to help foundations and charities.

How Northwestern Mutual helps you live the life you want.
When people feel better about their money, good things happen—they become more confident and feel more secure. For more than 160 years, Northwestern Mutual has helped people achieve the financial flexibility they need to live more and worry less.
Being a mutual company means Northwestern Mutual reports to its clients, not Wall Street. They don't believe in chasing fads or taking undue risk for short-term gains. Instead, they take a long-term approach—both in the way we help people plan to reach their goals, and in the way they do business. This has served their clients (and mine) well through all kinds of economic ups and downs, including wars, recessions, even the recent pandemic.
It's why I'm happy to be part of a company that's in it for the long-haul and prioritizes clients over profit.
