Investment Management

Prior to joining Northwestern Mutual Wealth Management, David was an institutional trader for Citigroup and worked with the world's largest investment firms, hedge funds, and banks.  He spent most of his career in New York City and was ultimately Head of Corporate Bond Trading for Australia and New Zealand in Syndey, Australia.

David is grateful to work in the field that consumes his personal thoughts and time.  He loves investments, talking about the economy, and how public policy shapes our financial futures.  The heart of these endeavors is to optimize our portfolios for tax-advantaged returns for families and businesses challenged by high taxes.

  • Look at where you are today

Your plan will help you make the most of what you already have, no matter where you're starting from, and give you a snapshot of your financial big picture.

  • Identify where you want to go

Whether it's shorter-term goals like managing your debt, or longer-term ones like saving for a new home, or retirement, your financial plan will show you how you're tracking, help you understand what's working, and point out any gaps you might have.

  • Put together range of options to get you there

Looking across all your goals, you'll get personalized recommendations and strategies to grow your wealth while making sure everything's protected. And I'll help you determine the right moves to make today and later on. Your financial plan is based on your priorities. As those priorities change throughout your life, we'll shift the financial strategies in your plan, too-so your plan stays flexible, and you stay on track to consistently meet goal after goal.

We answer your specific questions.

We aim to answer questions like:
- How can I position myself now to use tax-efficient strategies throughout my retirement?
- Can you lay out a game-plan now to mitigate the risk of market downturns in my portfolio?
- When exactly will I have the option to reduce my workload and employment income?
- What can I do to increase the confidence that I will not outlive the money I have saved?
- How can I think about the changing landscape on Social Security and Medicare benefits?
- Where can I have the option to retire at? Can I afford to plan for two homes in retirement?
- How can I continue to live my same lifestyle despite inflation decreasing my purchasing power?
- Can you describe to me how I can handle an expensive health problem for me or my spouse?
- What can I do now to enable me to tax-efficiently give money in the future to my family and charities?
