The designation helps individuals build a successful life insurance practice by providing clients with knowledgeable and ethical advice. For financial representatives, the CLU® designation symbolizes continuing growth and commitment to professionalism.
- The Chartered Financial Consultant (ChFC®) is a professional designation representing completion of a comprehensive course consisting of financial education, examinations and practical experience. Those who earn the designation are understood to be knowledgeable in financial matters and to have the ability to provide sound advice.
- MBA from the J.L. Kellogg Graduate School of Management of Northwestern University with a concentration in Finance and Operations.

The Council is a group of professionals whose mission is to raise awareness for the Museum and host events. The proceeds are earmarked to bring young writers of tomorrow, and local youth to the Museum who otherwise would not be able to attend.

Beads of Courage is an art-in-medicine program that helps kids with cancer tell their unique treatment story through colorful beads that are symbols of their courage.
We’re Raising Awareness and Funding for Childhood Cancer Research
Pediatric cancer research and support services are vastly and consistently underfunded, yet cancer is the leading cause of death by disease in children and adolescents in the United States, according to the National Cancer Institute. We’re working to accelerate the search for cures for childhood cancer and provide support for families fighting the disease. We’re partnering with the Northwestern Mutual Foundation and our non-profit partner Alex’s Lemonade Stand Foundation to raise critical dollars for research. We provide help for today and hope for tomorrow.

Britt Yackey is proud to support Northwestern Mutual's Childhood Cancer Program. As a business, we help people secure their futures and reach for their dreams. For many children, however, cancer puts their future in jeopardy.
We’re Supporting Kids and their Families
In 2016, we have provided care packages for 200 hospitalized children at The University of Chicago Medicine Comer Children’s Hospital. We’re looking forward to making an even bigger impact in the years ahead. We’re Fighting Childhood Cancer ‘One Cup at A Time’
In 2015, we built lemonade stands and hosted them throughout Chicago. We also had a Golf Outing, ran for the cause, and sponsored Casual Days at our office. In that year, our firm raised more than $130,000 which will help fund 2,600 hours of research. We were also the recipient of the Northwestern Mutual Foundation Childhood Cancer Impact Award. This award recognizes our philanthropic outreach and will provide a $50,000 grant to childhood cancer programs.
