Personal
Alex Marchan was born and raised in the Milwaukee area; where he attended Greenfield High School and played baseball, basketball and golf. Alex attended UW-Oshkosh from 2007 to 2011 and graduated with a BBA in HR Management.
Alex got married to Amanda in Lake Geneva, August of 2017. They met back in 2012, and both currently live in Waukesha, WI. They have a daughter named Ensley and son named Theo. They enjoy family time with their kids, swimming, working out together, golfing, spending time with their dog Zoey and enjoying wine!
Alex is lucky to have two great families; his father Frank Marchan and step-mother Monica Marchan have two other boys besides Alex named Nicolas and Matias. Alex's mother Yvette Rowe and step-father Tom Rowe have two daughters besides Alex named Caroline and Rubie.

As part of Northwestern Mutual, I'm proud to help accelerate the search for better childhood cancer treatments while supporting families undergoing treatment, and survivors from late effects. Here are some of the organizations we partner with:
Alex's Lemonade Stand Foundation for Childhood Cancer (ALSF)
ALSF funds cancer research, raises awareness, and supports the families of children with cancer. Since 2012, Northwestern Mutual, its employees, and financial professionals like me have donated more than $20 million to support ALSF and fund over 400,000 research hours.

Beads of Courage
Beads of Courage is an art-in-medicine program that helps kids with cancer tell their unique treatment story through colorful beads that are symbols of their courage.

Alex Marchan grew up in Milwaukee, Wisconsin and attended University of Wisconsin-Oshkosh where he was introduced to the internship opportunity at Northwestern Mutual. He joined our firm in 2009 as a College Financial Representative focusing on mastering his skills and building financial security for his clients. In 2011, he changed the course of his life forever by deciding to join this career as a full-time Financial Advisor.
Alex is now an active member of the Executive Leadership Team and serves as the Managing Director of the North Shore Office where he introduces individuals to this great career and mentors them on how to build a successful financial planning practice. He has a passion for helping the advisors on his team achieve their dreams personally, professionally, and financially. Alex achieved Target 20 as a College Financial Representative and finished in the top 50 of 3,500 interns in 2010. He went on to achieve Pacesetter 40 as a full time Financial Advisor and consistently writes over 100 lives per year as well as qualifying for the new client bonus annually. Alex has also achieved MDRT (Million Dollar Round Table) every year since 2015. Alex works with a wide range of clients stemming from young professionals and families to pre and post retirement markets.
Alex is continually following up on his promise to the community, to help as many people as he can.
